Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how organizations operate, yet most AI educational resources assume technical expertise that civil society organizations simply don't have. Civil society teams, especially Leadership, find themselves navigating strategic decisions about AI tools without the foundational knowledge to evaluate opportunities and risks effectively.

At The Engine Room, we recognized this challenge within our own organization. During internal Emerging Tech conversations, we discovered that it would be vital to bring our team to the same baseline of AI literacy - enough understanding to have productive conversations about AI's potential impact on social change work.

This platform is built specifically for organizations working on social change, it tries to break down complex AI concepts into accessible knowledge that connects to actual real-world scenarios/use cases Civil Society Organizations face.
